Patti Spadaro: Blog

Hey there!  So far, it's been a good spring.  We helped raise a bunch of money for the Food Bank at D-Jam with theCAUSE.  We also had a blast at pUNKapalooza, with a rocking Patti Spadaro Band set, and later in the evening Patti ripped it up with Juggling Suns.  Then another show at Moondogs, and an intimate show at Bocktown Beer and Grill, showing off some brand new tunes. 
We finished up the first 5 songs for the new CD.  Jill Simmons and Eric "Pappy" Weingrad sang harmony vocals with us at Sofa King Studios.  And Skip Sanders from the Clarks laid down some very tasty keyboard parts.  Tomorrow we are going to record a song at Tom Breiding's studio, featuring Scooter Tamulinas (from Bill Deasy's band) on bass, and of course our very own Eric Kurtzrock on durms.  And in June we'll be working on the last two tunes with Sean McDonald engineering at Sofa King.  Looking forward to a very fun summer!

We had a blast recording with Jim Donovan (Rusted Root).  He put down some awesome drum tracks on 4 songs.   I'll be going back tomorrow to add some guitar parts.
 

Hi everyone.  We're heading over to Sofa King studio next week to record some songs for the upcoming, brand new Patti Spadaro Band CD.  I'm very excited!!  One of my all-time favorite drummers Jim Donovan (from Rusted Root) will be guest starring on this CD, recording 4 songs with us.  Sean McDonald is engineering/co-producing - he's worked with The Clarks, Sinead O'Connor, Soul Asylum, Aretha Franklin, Wynton Marsalis and lots more.  Oooo... this is gonna be GOOD!!  Check back soon for updates.
