The Patti Spadaro Band plays bluesy, jammy rock with wailing female lead guitar. The band weaves organic grooves with catchy tunes and synchronistic, spur-of-the moment jamming. "I like to combine improvisation with good solid song writing" says Patti. "I love to get people up and dancing. Music can open minds and inspire, it can bring people together, even expand consciousness and make a difference in the world. It's also a whole lot of fun."
The Patti Spadaro Band CD "BRINGING ME BACK" is available now. The CD is receiving airplay on Pittsburgh's WYEP, as well as other stations around the globe. It was recorded at Sofa King Studios with engineer SEAN McDONALD (clients include: The Clarks, Aretha Franklin, Wynton Marsalis, Sinead O'Connor, Soul Asylum and more). In addition to some deliciously fluid guitar work, the CD features outstanding musicianship and songs that reach deep. Songs about discovering what matters most. Standing up and living life from that place. A place of integrity and love; freedom, joy and passion.

PATTI SPADARO has recorded and released several CDs and performed all over the country. She's a creative, passionate lead guitarist/singer/songwriter. Patti's guitar leads cry, sing and wail, with an Eric Clapton meets Jerry Garcia sort of style. She calls Pittsburgh, PA home, and in addition to her own band, she also plays with many other Pittsburgh performers. Patti worked full-time as a musician in L.A. and toured up and down the west coast, playing from San Deigo to Seattle.
THE BAND
DRUMS- JOHN BRAINARD is well know in the Pittsburgh music community for his intricate grooves, solid time and tasty feel. JIM DONOVAN also plays on four songs on the new CD. Jim was the drummer for the multi-platinum band RUSTED ROOT from 1990-2005. He has such a great energy and feel - the band had a blast recording with him.
KEYS - JEFF ROSENTHAL play keyboards with the band. SKIP SANDERS is featured on the CD as well. Skip records, tours and performs with The Clarks and Bill Deasy.
BASS - MATT McCLINTOCK's unique style and groove help create a synergy on-stage and take the jams in creative and fresh directions.
THE SHOWS - Moondogs, The Thunderbird Café, Frankie and Georgies P.D.’s Pub, Cefalo’s, Club Cafe, the Pittsburgh Blues Festival, Westmoreland Arts & Heritage Fest, Hollywood Gardens, Carnegie Music Hall, WYEP, and Southside Works are just some of the local spots Patti and the band perform.
THE HISTORY - "The Grateful Dead, the Dave Matthew's Band, and Stevie Ray Vaughn are big influences", says Patti, "but I love all kinds of stuff. John Mayer, Phish, Little Feat, Sheryl Crow, Susan Tedeschi, The Allman Brothers, Bonnie Raitt, Dereck Trucks, and many, many more." Patti performs with plenty of Pittsburgh's favorites, including theCAUSE, Women On Top, Bryan Fazio, Tom Breiding, Bill Toms, Cherylann Hawk, Tertium Quid Percussion Ensemble, Andrea Pearl, Sandoz, Jill West, Danny Gochnour (of Joe Grushecky & the Houserockers), Ms. Freddye, The Sweaty Betty Blues Band, and Craig King. While living in California, Patti organized a benefit concert for Free Arts for Abused Children at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles. Rock legends Little Feat headlined the concert, with Patti & her band opening the show. For several years Patti was the lead guitarist for the ZOOKEEPERS. They recorded two CDs together and toured the western U.S. extensively. The Zookeepers were named one of L.A.'s best bands by Fox-TV, and performed on several local TV shows. Both of their CDs received airplay all over the west coast. Patti has also recorded and performed in Los Angeles with singer/songwriter and award winning commercial producer Sherby, and singer/songwriter Roger Len Smith. She recorded her first CD and toured the southwestern US with the Mystrals.
Patti started playing at age 11, and has been performing since age 13. She is a graduate of Musician's Institue in Hollywood, where she studied with world renown jazz/fusion guitarist Scott Henderson of Chick Corea's band, and blues/roots-rock guitarist Keith Wyatt of the Blasters. She has also worked as a guitar teacher and session musician.
